In the year 1979, Mrs. Pritpal Singh founded this school. after spending 13 years managing the junior section at Bishop Cotton School. She started working for Shimla Public School in 1978 and departed in 1977. She worked alone for a long time. She put in a lot of work and was very dedicated, which is why she had a stroke in 1993 that left her right side entirely paralysed and her speech utterly lost. She put a lot of effort into working with her therapists because she was so determined to get better. As a result, she is now an inspiration to everyone at S.P.S.
